I had the same problem as most other people - couldn't see the reader on Windows XP / 7 / 10 - The problem is not the card reader it is the card you are trying to use. I was trying to use a Bernina Deco 330 embroidery card without success. Once I inserted a PCMCIA adapter with a Compact Flash card - it worked perfectly
